Google DNS

Google is into world domination again, still in a good way I say. The search engine leader announced their new service, the Google Public DNS.
You can configure your network settings and use these easy to remember IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS.
The Google Public DNS is a free, global Domain Name System (DNS) resolution service that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider.
I’ve changed the DNS settings on my internet accounts, at home and at the office and found a significant difference in speed of loading webpages. A great thing offered by Google for free.. thank you.
Check out these instructions to set it up on Windows, Mac or Linux.
